Jeff S. - Went to DC to see his son and his family. Both parents had to work, so he and Sharon had the kids to themselves.
The program today was our own Gina Smith, who shared about being an author of “Romance with Sass & Shenanigans” books. (Rochelle Bradley is her pen name.)
Editor’s notes:
Gina's education was in interior design/decoration.
One of her pen names is "Rochelle Bradley". It is derived from her husband Aaron's middle name (Bradley) and her middle name (Rochelle). Gina wanted to pick a name that would draw more attention, fearing that "Smith" wouldn't get the job done.
Before she was published, she joined a writing group. They told Gina she writes "Romance" stories as her stories always have a "happily ever after ending".
Her "epic" dreams are the basis of her writing.
Gina never took a class on how to write a book. She joined the National Novel Writing Month and wrote two (2) books in the first year.
Gina says meeting/associating with other writers has provided guidance and perspective, and has proved to be invaluable.
Gina has audio, paperback and E-book versions of her books.
