The Centerville Rotary Club is celebrating our 50th anniversary on June 13, 2022 as we continue the efforts to make the world a better place through community service.
This year our fundraising is focused on an impactful project to benefit our community. The club is collaborating with the Centerville-Washington Park District on their major redesign of Grant Park, McEwen entrance. We will establish a pollinator garden, plant trees and add interpretive signage highlighting the plants and animals found in the meadow. We will also help develop and implement a new Rotary Memorial Entryway greeting all visitors while commemorating Rotary and past members.
Last fall, Rotarians collected prairie seed at the Bill Yeck Park seed nursery and this spring, we planted those seeds at the meadow area of Grant Park-McEwen entrance. We hope to have a groundbreaking with the Park District in late summer so stay tuned!
We're looking for you! If you're a prior member of the club, an exchange student, a scholarship recipient, or part of an international service project, we want to hear from you! Please email your contact information to Carol Kennard at
