2012 ROY Hans Berkel

Hans Berkel was presented the Rotarian of the Year award by outgoing President, Erich Eggers for his many contributions to the club. Hans chaired our 40^th Anniversary celebration and inspired the club to raise almost $22,000 for the international polio project.  His coffee and Super Bowl ticket sales raised another $6,000. Hans attended the International Conference, coordinated with the District and wrote three grants to get International and District matching funds. And he served on the Centerville Rotary Board, sharing his knowledge and wisdom to help the club achieve our goals.
